众所周知，曼谷伊拉旺四面神坛是泰国香火最为鼎盛的膜拜圣地之一。信众普遍相信四面佛极为灵验，若诚心祈求并如愿以偿，往往会返回神坛还愿表达感恩。据记载，该神坛于1956年11月9日首次建成，随着岁月流转，这一天逐渐被信众视为“四面佛诞辰”。
然而鲜为人知的是，三宝佛光寺所供奉的四面佛神像与曼谷伊拉旺神坛的神像出自同一模具铸造，并且两尊神像均曾获泰国九世皇普密蓬·阿杜德陛下亲自加持。此尊神像后来由三宝佛光寺创办人林秋福居士从泰国恭请回国，供奉于本寺，作为主尊神明，广结善缘。鉴于两尊四面佛的殊胜渊源，本寺亦将每年11月9日视为“四面佛庆典日”，并于前后期间举行庄严隆重的纪念活动，以表敬意并祈愿众生安康、福慧增长。
四面佛的四个面分别掌管着人类事务的不同层面，因此又被尊称为“能满足愿望的佛”。四面象征着事业、人际关系、健康与财富，全面庇佑信众的生活与福祉。在祭拜时，信众应按顺时针方向依序参拜四面佛。信众也可依自身愿望，敬献七色鲜花、泰国传统舞蹈、舞蹈人偶或木雕大象作为供品，以表达虔诚之心。对于许下的心愿，也应以明确、具体的方式向四面佛祈求，并在愿望实现后依承诺还愿，以示感恩与尊敬。
